The MD2 Gold Scrub Bar was born from a zero-waste philosophy. When we process pineapples for our food products, the fiber and rind are typically discarded. Instead, we dry and mill that fiber into a gentle exfoliant — giving it a second life in skincare. Combined with hand-harvested sea salt from the Pangasinan coast, it creates a dual-texture scrub that's firm enough to buff away calluses and rough patches, but gentle enough for regular use on arms, legs, and torso. But this isn't just a physical scrub. The pineapple fiber retains active bromelain, which provides enzymatic exfoliation — breaking down dead skin at the cellular level while the salt and fiber work on the surface. It's two exfoliation methods in one bar, and neither requires microplastics or synthetic beads. We set the bar in a coconut-oil-and-olive-oil base for conditioning, and add a small amount of activated charcoal for detoxifying properties. The result is a bar that looks rustic, feels substantial in your hand, and delivers visible results from the first use. Your skin has never felt this clean.
