The Spiced Pineapple Chips were born in a test kitchen in Pampanga, where we were trying to answer a simple question: can dried pineapple have the crunch and cravability of a chip? It took months of iteration — slicing thickness, baking temperature, seasoning ratios — but the result speaks for itself. Each chip starts as a paper-thin slice of MD2 pineapple, cut precisely to ensure even dehydration. We oven-bake (never fry) at a controlled temperature that drives out moisture while caramelizing the fruit's natural sugars, creating a crispy, glass-like texture. The finishing touch is our proprietary chili-lime blend: cayenne for heat, real lime zest for brightness, and a whisper of sea salt to tie it together. The sweet-heat-sour balance is addictive. These are not health food masquerading as a snack — they're a genuinely great snack that happens to be made from real fruit with real seasoning and nothing else.
